MADA is coordinating relief work in the South and the north of the country, in coordination with several NGOs and INGOs as well as government bodies. MADA, through its proper funds and donations, is financing small structures and independent groups in the less covered areas.

The United Nations have been coordinating recovery activities in the South, the Bekaa and Beirut southern suburbs, since the end of the July - August war. An office has been opened in North Lebanon beginning 2007, and activities will soon take place there. The purpose of coordination is to avoid duplication in implemented programs, make sure allocated resources address needs and that recovery activities follow a logical sequence. Coordination involves all the actors concerned: UN agencies, international and local NGOs, ministries and municipalities, as well as civil society organizations. It is worth noting that these offices have been opened in the areas where poverty and disparity in socio-economic terms were originally found.
